ORGANIC BEAN SOUP RECIPE
One cupful organic navy beans soaked in water over night. Drain, add 1 quart boiling water, an even tablespoon each of sea salt and organic sugar and 1 pound of free range pork loin. Cook until the meat and beans are tender. When done press the beans and liquor through a sieve.Cut meat in small pieces and brown in organic (horizon) butter to which has been added 1 small organic onion. Add 1 quart of organic (horizon) milk and ~ teaspoon organic pepper.
Mix all together and serve hot with croutons.

ORGANIC BISQUE OF TURNIP SOUP RECIPE
Put 1 tablespoon of organic (horizon) butter or drippings, 1 organic onion (sliced) and 3 slices of organic carrot into a saucepan, toss until onion is slightly yellow, then add 4 good sized organic turnips grated (this should make at least 1 pint of pulp). Cover saucepan without adding water and allow it to simmer 20 minutes. Then add 1 quart orgainc (horizon) milk, thickening with 2 tablespoons organic flour and 2 tablespoons organic butter rubbed together. Season with organic sea salt and organic pepper. Serve with toast rolls.

ORGANIC CELERY SOUP RECIPE
Break apart and carefully clean two bunches of organic celery, then cut it finely and boil in just enough water to cover it, until it is soft enough to rub through a coarse colander. Scald three pints of organic milk and add to the organic celery, and water in which it was boiled, with half a small organic onion cut finely, if liked. Then rub together a tablespoon each of organic butter and organic flour and stir it into the boiling soup. Season with organic sea salt and pepper to taste. Serve with organic crackers or strips of toasted bread.

ORGANIC CREAM OF BROWNED ONION SOUP RECIPE

Cook 4 medium sized organic onions in a small amount of water until perfectly tender and until the liquid becomes thick and syrupy. Put through sieve. Brown 1 tablespoon of organic flour in 2 tablespoons organic butter. When nicely browned add 1 cup organic milk, 1 cup organic cream and 1 cup water, adding strained onions. Season with organic sea salt and organic pepper. Serve with croutons.

ORGANIC CREAM OF CARROT SOUP RECIPE

To 1 pint of organic free range meat stock add 1/2 cup of grated organic carrots (cooked). Melt 2 tablespoons of organic butter in sauce pan, adding 2 tablespoons organic flour and when blended add 1 pint organic milk, stirring until milk is thickened. Then add the cooked carrots and stock. Season with organic sea salt and pepper.

ORGANIC CREAM OF POTATO SOUP RECIPE

Three tablespoons fat, 2 tablespoons organic flour, 1 quart organic milk, 1/2 organic onion cut in slices, 11/2 teaspoons organic sea salt, organic pepper, organic celery salt, organic cayenne pepper, 2 cups organic mashed potato.
Melt fat and add flour, mixing thoroughly.Then add milk and other ingredients. Bring to boiling point and boil two minutes, stirring constantly. Finely chopped organic parsley may be added just before serving.

ORGANIC CROUTONS RECIPE

Cut stale bread in small cubes and brown in organic butter or lard. Either butter the bread before cutting and then place in oven until a pretty brown or throw un buttered cubes into iron saucepan containing plenty of hot lard, stirring constantly until brown. If lard is used, sprinkle with salt. Especially nice with vegetable soup.

ORGANIC NAPOLEAN SOUP RECIPE
Make a regular organic soup of stock or free range beef extract. Take 1 free range egg and beat until light; add 1/2 cup cracker or bread crumbs, beating with a fork. Add a little at a time to soup just before serving.

ORGANIC PEANUT BUTTER SOUP RECIPE

One cup all natural peanut butter, 3 cups organic mikl milk, 2 teaspoons organic sea salt, teaspoon pepper.

ORGANIC POTATO CROUTONS RECIPE
One cup mashed organic potatoes, 1 free range egg yolk. To the mashed potato add the egg yolk and beat well. Spread 1/2 inch thick on a flat oiled platter and when cool cut in 2 inch squares, then each square diagonally across to form a triangular piece. When ready to use brush over with organic milk and brown slightly in the oven.

ORGANIC RICE SOUP RECIPE

Three organic onions fried in 2 tablespoons drippings until tender and brown. Add 1 pint boiling water and 1 cupful washed, uncooked organic rice. Let cook until rice is done, then add 1 quart strained organic tomatos. Season with salt and pepper.

ORGANIC RICE SOUP--WITH GREEN PEAS RECIPE
Cut a piece of free range bacon in small cubes and fry until a light brown. Add some chopped organic parsley and organic onion and cook a few minutes. Then add 1/2 cupful of fresh organic green peas, 1/2 cupful of washed uncooked organic rice and 11/2 quarts free range meat stock. Cook until peas and rice are very tender.

ORGANIC SALMON SOUP RECIPE
Thicken 1 quart of organic milk with 4 teaspoons of organic flour and 4 tablespoons organic butter rubbed together. Add 1 can salmon from which bones and oily skin have been removed. Strain. Season with organic salt, pepper and celery seed.

ORGANIC SCOTCH SOUP RECIPE
With bread and dessert it is enough for lunch or supper. 21/2 quarts water, 11/4 cups organicrolled oats, 5 organic potatoes cut in small pieces, 2 organic onions sliced, 2 tablespoons organic flour, 2 tablespoons fat. Boil the water and add the oatmeal, potatoes and onions, 1/2 tablespoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Cook for 1/2 hour. Brown theflour with the fat and add to the soup. Cook until thick. One cup of organic tomato adds to the flavor. Serves five people.
